After eight years in the United States Navy, I transitioned into the civilian world. Having been an electrician in the Navy, that became my first job as a civilian. The electrical contractor for which I was employed believed in self-improvement. He encouraged his employees to go to a Brian Tracy Seminar that was in town. I was extremely impressed with the ideas and became a avid student of self-improvement.

As I read and listened to these ideas, I began to look at life differently. I moved in to sales, then sales management over the next few years. Within 5 years of listening to my first seminar I started a marketing company that grew to over 100 employees doing business in over 30 states. Since that time -- more than 20 years ago -- I have owned 5 businesses and earned a six-figure income with no college or special training other than the ideas I have learned from the self-improvement field.

During this journey I've had the opportunity to train thousands of people in the ideas I have learned.
